Blue beads show support for cancer kids

Buy a blue bead and support children facing cancer.
It’s Child Cancer Foundation Appeal Week and this year blue beads serve as a symbol of support for the bravery beads initiative and the essential services the foundation provides for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
Bravery beads are different coloured beads used to acknowledge the courage of children with cancer as they undergo the often painful and distressing procedures associated with cancer treatment.
At Starship Children’s Health Haematology/Oncology ward children with cancer treasure lengths of beads as part of the bravery beads programme.
Different coloured beads signify new treatments or milestone.
